Re: I can't believe this reply

Check this out. I've said it before and I will say it again: Integy is the worst RC parts manufacturer in existence. All of their products are made from the cheapest aluminum alloys available, and poorly manufactured. Many of them are ripped off from much better manufacturers. There isn't a single ...

If they stock Morgan Fuel's Cool Power, they can get Morgan's Sidewinder Race too. It is as good as or better than Byron's Gen 2.

It's true that HPI TVPs are garbage. Just stamped from 6061-0 plate, no artificial age hardening whatsoever.

You all can't wait until it snows, while I am cursing every day that involves the horrible frozen menace. Living in northern BC Canada, you get sick of dealing with a thick coating of the stuff for 6 months per year.

Yes, they will work fine. The XL outdrives have larger cups, but the shaft size has not changed.

Re: Shortening Engine Life

Buy some pure methanol from a hardware store and run the engine on that. With no lubrication, you will kill it almost instantly.

You'll need to modify an existing pipe hanger, or make a new one. I made mine from 2.5mm 316 stainless steel.

Well by backlash I mean the play between the teeth of the gears, not the lateral movement. You want a small amount of backlash, but not too much.
