Innovative RC flux tvp

I been away from the flux scene for awhile. I am back now and it looks like Innovative RC finally released his flux tvps back in May. I had his tvps on my nitro and it was dialed. Anyone running his extended flux tvps yet?

Re: Will 4S be too slow for this chassis?

I think 4s with that chassis isn't going to be too exciting. I extended my flux 1.5 which is still shorter than a xl and it took all the fun away on 4s. I found 5s to be the sweet spot and it brought the fun back. There are plenty of 3s packs that will fit to run 6s. You will have to do a little sea...

Re: Gearing - starting point for high speed idler gear

[quote="TheManWithNoName";p="849434"][quote="PowerStroker";p="849431"] I am running either 15/47 or 16/47 on 5s with the high speed idler and a plastic spur fully locked. The plastic spur fully locked has been the most reliable setups I have ran. When I go to the mountains I toss in the low speed id...

[quote="TheManWithNoName";p="848987"][quote="Ascender";p="848952"]Not really, man. I think the smallest pinion you can fit and still mesh right is the 14T, which won't come close to giving you a usable gear ratio with the high speed idler. Remember, the high speed idler gives you the same transmissi...

Re: 5mm TCS XL or reg TVP ?

I went with the PRC 1.5" extended carbon fiber tvps. It is a little shorter than the xl length, and keeps the weight about the same as stock, which is nice for an extended truck.

Re: Plastic spur gear 44tooth in a Flux HP

I am running 5s with and extended chassis and a plastic spur gear. It is bolted to the Alza slipper eliminator so it is fully locked. It is the most trouble free setup that I have ran. I started running a plastic spur when my flux was new because I got tired of buying pinions. The plastic spur worke...

Traxxas Velineon 3500 ?

Hi, I was thinking about geting a flux xs ss and using a traxxas velineon esc and 3500kv motor. Any one know if the motor fits and how the performance would be on 3s?

Re: big bores 8 or 4

I love 8 shocks on my flux. I am running blue spring up front and silver springs in the back and it works well. I love how it soaks up landings and how it holds up the back end when going full throttle.

Re: Not so bullet proof

I have had great luck with the drivetrain in my flux. My truck is light and my wheel and tire combo is light which I think really helps. I do back flips but I let off the throttle after about 3/4 of the rotation so when it lands there is no power being applied. I have also shimmed the tranny and I r...

Re: 8 big bores

Hi, I am running 8 big bores on my flux and I like them. My flux is extended 1.5 inch and weighs a little over 13 pounds ready to run. I am running 20w shock oil in the front and 22.5 in the rear. Nothing special on the shock oil, it is what I had laying around. I am running blue springs up front an...

I have mounted up 4 big bores in the rear with pink springs and 20wt. The pink springs feel pretty stiff but the 20wt feels about right. They look sweet! I won't miss the shock towers bending in. I am also hoping to bend less dog bones with the eight shocks. I have already bent two on my flux and I ...

Re: Best Oil/Spring Set-up For using 8 Big Bores

I got the blue spring off of ebay. I also got some silvers springs coming so I can mix and match. I think I now have every spring color available.  I should be able to get something dialed in.
