Re: Savage LRP 32. to 6s Flux Xl conversion questions

I run 100k/500k/100k in my flux. I also use 40wt oil in the shocks with red hellfire springs. For 6s I would recommend 11/48 gearing with your timing set to the lowest. Remember that the heavier the tire you need to gear down. I personally like Tekno rc pinions.

Re: motor ans esc combo

I have both portable HW esc programers and I have not experienced this issue. I will say that HW North America is very good at least in my experience. Im sorry that this happened to you.

Did you get the 2200 to go with the ESC?

Re: motor ans esc combo

Hobbywing just came out with some new 1/5 and 1/8 esc's. I am a fan of the stock 2200kv. Depending on size and weight the 1717 would be an option for you.

This is the new XR8 from Hobby wing and its nicely priced...XR8

Re: Let's talk bearings

The wobbling will put stress on both CB and crank shaft and because its spinning it remains smooth. These are extreme scenarios tho, most bearings will fall apart locking the CB and Spur together before it gets that bad. For the beginner that doesnt know that his bearing(s) fell apart, what do they ...

Re: Badboy needs a little TLC

The XL motor plate will fit the X chassis, I have it installed on mine right now. I have used the XL plates for years on all my nitro savages. The X plate is very prone to cracking as you have found out.

Re: Hop up Setup (Feedback)

The 086 is an upper rpm range pipe which is why you saw a loss in your low end with the gain up top. I prefered the 053 when I had my LRP30. The 053 is a mid range pipe.

Re: Let's talk bearings

Anytime I take the motor out or swap clutch bells I replace the bearings. For $10 you cant go wrong and its just cheap insurance. Letting them go bad can jack up your crank and then your CB will wobble never making a good mesh.

Like I said there good bearings for the price.

Re: Let's talk bearings

I used the cheap $1 a bearing clutch bearings by Protek from Amain. They are metal shielded and I replace them about every 1/4- 1/2 gallon sometimes sooner. Never had one go bad.

Re: SiNiST3R'S Savage Flux Speed and RPM Calculators

The center diff from ALZA is a direct drop in replacement for the tranny. Its basically a buggy diff mounted inplace of the tranny. It makes the flux much more durable and you can tune the diff. The stock tranny has gear reductions like the nitro. So with the CD setup you would typically run a 10t p...

Re: SiNiST3R'S Savage Flux Speed and RPM Calculators

You should make one for the flux with a center diff, basically a direct drive setup, buggys and truggys could use it too

You arent going to break these, they are machined steel not sintered crap. I ran twin 2200kv motor on 6s each through a single rear diff. You shouldnt have anything to worry about
