Re: Vorza Flux in a half pipe

Man, you should get a set of softer compound tires if you mess around that pipe most of the time. You can do some serious stunts on that pipe with Vorza. I've a pretty similar, dirt ramp near my house and I like screwing around with her down there... Adjust your brakes to %70, shut off the punch con...

Re: Your top choice for relacement esc and motor for flux???

Oh... I just read "I'm trying to get my hands on my girlfriends girlfriend" and went blank for a second.. LOL If you are going to run 4S exclusively then 2350 setup is the way to go. I've read mixed reviews about those hobbkyking(or wing?) ESCs so I can't say go for it. I was considering their syste...

Re: How many people have had success waterproofing? Encourag

I seriously need to find this stuff. I searched the web for a distributor around these parts but no luck. Maybe I can send some money to one of our member in Europe so they can get one for me and ship that sucker out to me. I found similar products but I will not use it. I can't take the chances of ...

Re: Newbie from UK with Flux HP.. a couple of questions.

It's a monster truck so don't expect braking like a buggy. Unless it's on low traction surface like very loose dirt or wet asphalt, concrete or ice, you will end up flipping the truck on full brake when it's near her top speed. To prevent this, you need ABS. If you get a radio with ABS, you can brak...

Re: eating dog-bones

Adjusting slipper a little looser will definitely help to relieve some instant stress on the drive line. But then again, you might end up changing pads instead of bones so... I don't know. In such events, best thing to prevent damage is replacing the parts with stronger ones but I don't know if ther...

Re: Custom Flux XL Build

I know we are going a little off topic but how does braking becomes problem with a center diff? If it's locked, doesn't it defeats the purpose of havng a center diff? Purple ain't that bad in my opinion. I had to order T6979PURPLE from SC Store because all they had was purple so I went for it. Findi...

Re: Custom Flux XL Build

Hmm.. Nice list you got there brother.

Have you considered a center diff instead of gearbox? Like a buggy?

How hard is it to add a center diff to savy anyways? Maybe the one in Vorza might work? Better distribution of power and also might be tougher?

Just thinking out loud.

Man, that's a bummer. I don't have any idea about your problem but after searching Castle website, I've found this. Maybe it's just a simple thing like this... Flashing all colors = speed control is not receiving a valid signal from the receiver. Usually indicates the receiver wire is plugged in bac...

Re: Very strange coincidence, or not?

I just checked the C hub and it's bent so much and stuck in there. I used a hammer to remove and straighten it now it's fine but the servo is gone. It's locked completely, I can't even turn the darn thing with a wrench. I opened it and removed the gears but no luck, it's gone, locked up for good. Al...

Very strange coincidence, or not?

Couple of days ago, I found a great deal on a used Vorza Flux HP in my home town. Spoke with the dude and set up a meeting then yesterday, we met. It was pretty clean, used very lightly and babied all the time... At least to my standarts, meaning after I bought it and went out for a first run, I bas...

This thread is just awesome!

Are you going to make the molds exactly like that, without any carving done to the design? It looks like a rough cut.
