Re: Let's talk bearings

The key takeaway here, IMO, is that if you pop your clutch bearing...you HAVE to replace your clutch bell. Simple test...after running, take engine off immediately, wipe inside bell with finger. If you get any black...replace bell..it is ru...

Re: New User with a few servo questions

Did you get this fixed? I had the exact same issue, but it was the throw...just because it can move to a certain point doesn't mean it can rotate without issue. Especially if you have play in your axle cause by bearing, dog bones, diff, etc etc. The wheel size plays a factor as well. My point: I've ...

Re: Robinson 47T GEN3 Slipper Unit Spur Gear question

One other item to keep an eye out for, due to how shallow the vented bell is, lots of folks tend to shim it "up" so the shoes don't hit the bell, as opposed with shimming the flywheel and inner bearing "down". The RR gear protrudes a bit more than stock gear so be very careful of the top of bell doe...

I'd buy about 50 of them and would have no problem selling them. Don't  know anything about the 25 roll bar (is that t...

Re: I need more power!!!!!

I can vouge for Neals' engines.  I have a few, inclding a Nova for my Savage that I only put in when that 'silly power' is needed. For example, I'm telling you guys I thnk I can do a standing back flip under the right circumstance. $290 is a steal for one of his engines IMO. Make sure to pair up a g...

Makes me wonder what sort of difference a high end pipe like an ercm would make.
95% of the people who rave about them are comparing it to stock, which is not much of a comparison. Plenty of EFRA pipes for less coin can get down just as much--if not more.

Re: It's Bash Time...

Please remember I have taken a different approach. I recommend that people come very familiar with stock anything until upgrading performance parts. This includes clutch setups as the Savage design is very unorthodiox when it comes to this. Notice all the end float. I went like 6-8 gallons with stoc...
