If we were to look at a new piston under a microscope we would see the surface isn't smooth at all and that it looks closer to a ripple chip then it looks to a sheet of glass,when the piston was manufactured the tooling  leaves cut marks...In the breakin process we want to polish out these tooling m...

I tested this with the modified 32 in the spring time.... we had a hot tune on the engine and ran it hard for a bunch of tans to see how much the tune shifts from full to empty..  My final thoughts were the tune definitely shifts, but not nearly as badly as I had remembered and I was easily able to ...

the HTL isn't nearly that bad...most of what is being experienced is the tune shift from the engine heat soaking.......... as i say, these things go thru a huge tune shift as everything saturates........

anything over 0.5 mm idle gap will cause a RPM hang...... unless we are crazy high altitude, then rules change a little...

I use the brass shoes for my dyno and they work awesome....if I was building a pulling truck I would use them...but for typical bashing they are a tad heavy.......
