Re: ofna tank source?

Just a word of caution... coming from racing OFNA fuel tanks always had poor tuning characteristics, on several of our OFNA cars we had to install fuel tanks from other brands.... So if I were choosing a tank a OFNA would be one of the last I would choose..Ideally a tank from a Losi 8T truggy would ...

Re: Picco Boost .28 rotostart in Savage

The Boost are easy to get now....initially there was a issue when the new distributors took over, they didn't order any 28's ..but now they have the engines ... issue is they don't sell anywhere near the number of 28's as they do .21's and the numbers were so poor the factory puts it on low priority...

Re: Novarossi legend 28-8RT v Novarossi 28-7T

on a 28 a large insert doesn't lose bottom end, if anything it will help it....... on a race .21 a big insert can slow throttle response, but doesn't hurt the actual power..... So I suggest you run a 9 mm with that engine.... We run 30/7............so I suggest something along those lines.. anything...

Re: Novarossi legend 28-8RT v Novarossi 28-7T

edit.  the 9901/41021 is typically not a combo for a .28.... the 9901 is a restrictive 3 chamber pipe used for noise regulations... Great if your after a smooth racing setup, but maybe not for a powerful MT... ideally you want to use a 9886/41001 or 9853/41001 with that engine... In the very bear fu...

Re: Picco P3 28 or Navarossi 287T

To measure power put the engine on a dyno LOL.... And at the end of the day both my LRP 30 and my Novarossi will outperform the ERCM Picco/pipe combo... this is not even a debate..half a dozen now own both our engines and each and every one says my engine is the strongest performer...... I will post...

Re: Exhaust upgrade?

the Novarossi 9886 is the best pipe for the LRP 32 as far as I can tell..I have dyno tested quite a few pipes and nothing so far matches the 9886......also to add the OFNA 086 did pretty good too.....has slightly  more initial power and slightly less top power..
