rcbasher38 He's doing fine. He's got way more going on now. The little custom RC parts was a possible due to some down time he had which allowed him to do it. No ETA on when he'll be back in it, but he plans on making a return. calibra3 No, you don't need the 17mm conersion to run this suspension k...

What about the steering performance I mean do you have more turning radius with this kit? more? that would be bad you'd want a smaller turning radius, not more. From what I saw/cpmpared it looks very much the same. But all you'd need to do is shave the steering stop on the hub to get more throw. I'...

HPI messed up and put in the wrong picture. The other guy showed why it WON'T work with 4 shocks. The steering tierod hits the inside shock. HPI also put on a WARNING sticker that tells you you cannot run 4 front shocks. They also tell you how to setup the remaining two front shocks to handle the we...

It was an old .21 engine they made for the Proceed. That was the only Rossi HPI motor.

cause it's not just the arms they would need to include. -EXT Arms -EXT Dog bones -EXT Upper Arms also would need to play with new shock settings since the longer arms change the fulcrum point... all that for a wider stance is not worth the price they'd want for them. These arms alone are $14 for ON...

Yep. On the new X truck all the provisions/mounting holes are there for a sway bar kit.

The front of the bulkheads have a slit molded in for the center of the bar and the lower A-arms have holes in the center of the arm for the end of the sway bar attachment.

Yeah we've had it on backorder for 3-4 months. Then one day I walked in a bam, it was there. Funny thing about the kit is it looks like they wanted to include a full cet of 17mm CVD's but didn't....the cut out in the foam show where the CVDs would go. I'll try and get pics posted later tonight. Thes...

I haven't broken one but I've tweaked them pretty good. All the hing pin holes get hogged out pretty fast developing slop, and the stock arms flex a lot, and actually permanently bent an arm. Plus getting rid of slop keeps your suspension in check and allows it to do it's job absorbing rather than f...

you can make any body fit on any chassis, not guaranteed to look good though.

The mini-t bodies are like a 1 1/2" too short

But acceleration and top end are also a part of a "performance" vehicle. Don't most tracks have a straight strech? All the ones I've ever seen have one, usually right before the finish line... It is on this segment that without a "high gear" a MT will be passed by any buggy with in range. I guess I...
