Re: Alternative to dual tank mod?

I don't think a bigger tank is the solution. The big tank is part of the problem. A .21 can barely pressurize the stock tank, let alone a bigger one. Scott The .21 has no problem pressurizing the stock tank, if it did HPI wouldn't use it. The .21 can easily pressurize the tank, even you guys are ad...

Scott Ok if a bigger tank is the problem then get a tank around the stock 160 cc. 160 cc=roughly 5.4 oz. So if you go with the OFNA 125 cc=4.2oz you ...

Re: Alternative to dual tank mod?

Fabricating some mounting brakets to mount the tank...round tank or rectangular tank shouldn't be a problem. I don't have a Savage but will be buying the SS kit. I have a heavily modded Rush that I will post in a couple of weeks but could someone try the bigger tank mod to see how it fit and perform...

Re: Baby's 1st hop-up

Those bumpers look like they belong on the end of a rake handle than the ends of a Savage. Nice engineering but wrong design. Hang some raw steak off the spikes to get the 'full effect'

Re: Alternative to dual tank mod?

The main purpose of the Dual Tank mod is to eliminate the self leaning syndrome that the stock tank has. The additional run time is just an added benefit..... Savaged The reason people use the Hayes tank with the OFNA is to get back up around the 160 cc size of the stock tank. With the OFNA and Hay...

Alternative to dual tank mod?

All this hype abot thr dual tank mod has sparked a thought. Why use two separate tanks when you could just use one big tank. The Savage has enough space to mount a large tank by the rear bumper... so why not do it. The dual setup; OFNA 125cc tank with the 2 oz. Hayes tank is cool but why not cut dow...

Re: Anyone have integy parts installed? Need pics and opinio

For a sick suspension we would have to wait for Unlimited Engineering to get into the SAVAGE craze. Thier suspension for the T-Maxx is sweet. Go to their site a request that Savage parts be made. http://www.monstermaxx.com/

Re: Megatech Shocks

The advantage to two springs for one shock is the advantage of having two spring rates. Instead of having one long spring that is hard, you can split the job of absorbing bumps between two springs. Having one long 'hard' spring makes the truck bounce too much while traveling over small bumps. So usi...
