won't fit between the shocks or in the hub. Hub can't turn either with them.

thing with UHMW is it's pretty flexible (hence why it's un-breakable, won't crack) but unlike Delrin it won't maintain the shape once you apply heat to it to bend it. Delrin is better in that respect.

have any of you put a reverse module on a midtanked savage yes when I first did the MGT mid tank, I though hard about still using reverse and took an idea from Traxxas....use a micro servo, cause all it does is push/pull a lever and doesn't need a huge servo just for that. old pic.... http://img.ph...

The Tamiya bodies are super small. It will look way out of proportion. It's 1/10 not 1/8

The closest one to a Baja style truck is HPI's Dodge pickup shell. It's got the nice wide pre-runner style fenders.

1st gear = 2.21 : 1
2nd gear = 1.53 : 1

I also calculated the gear ratio for 49 and 47tooth spurs from 13T - 20T clutch bells. I'll post if if you guys want it.

more inclined: -softer initial dampening -more progressive dampening -better lateral traction more verticle: -stiffer dampening -less lateral traction -makes vehicle more responsive -better for tight technical tracks say if you need more steering stand the rear shocks up and lay the fronts down.

I would choose the Hellfire. Yes it's not the best out there...yet. It has a lot of untapped potential and the aftermarket is really picking up on this truck.

This is just the beginning....

It's going in a custom chassis so I might have some wiggle room to get it to work. Plus I have a nice in-line pipe setup that I'd like to make work if possible.

yeah I just bought one. I also bought the header adapter to run the more common header style. I originally had the SH .28 Pro for my racer but I think this is a more economical/reasonable race motor. Especially for a realatively s h o r t track. Light truck + Strong .21 = perfect race combination. P...

nice review very few people seem to run these engine or don't care to say they do run it if they have it.

How's the fuel consumption vs. the .25 ? Great to hear it's stronger than the 25. Could be a promising race motor with a little P&P. hmmm....

...if you have the bulks you'd know they fit without any problems... with the new x bulks the screw is now on the bottom (old style was screw on top) the lower hole on all TVPs is larger than the 4mm screw. So that's why the new bulk brace is designed different. Once again it all fits on EVERY savag...

yes.

There are 4 screws that bolt the shock tower to the bulk. The two upper screws also hold the bulk together. So when you take the bulk apart those two screws need to be removed but the other two lower screws (which hold the tower on) can stay screwed in.

:?: How do I have two X bulks with two older towers on them? They fit perfect.

One bulk is off ebay ripped from a truck and the other is from HPI sealed bag, both fit.
