Re: Vorza diff/.alza center diff kit

The stock vorza cups that come with the diff will work just fine. I use Tekno RC pinions. The motor mount is on the alza setup itself, there is no need for the motor plate anymore. Diffs will last a good while if shimmed properly.

Savage Snow Plow

Messing around with the idea, it wasnt to hard to make either. An issue that arose was that the bucket when it gets stuck will lift the truck up, so my solution was the two chains you see hanging from each side of the plow. This stopped that lift which also in tern put unwanted stress on the servo. ...

Re: Has anyone tried these 3s packs in their flux?

You don't want to run those. They don't have enough voltage in them. You need a lipo pack not a life pack. Even tho they say 6cell they only have as much juice as a 3cell.

Look into some 5000mAh 65c 3s lipo packs. Gens Ace, Turnigy A Spec G2, Dinogy, SMC are a few affordable brands of lipo

Re: New truck once over!

For starters the little grub screws that hold your center drive cups in place need loctite. Then I would invest in a great set of hex drivers. This way you can actually torque those type of screws down. I do not use loctite on my motor pinions anymore. I did once and about darn near destroyed a moto...

Re: Alza CD gearing?

Yes they will fit and by grinding the cup I mean cutting the end of the cup to allow the motor to fit. But you won't have to do that

Re: Decided to go back to the 2 speed.

Which 3rd gear did you have installed? The newer 3spd come pre installed with the taller gearing. I can understand your point about the 4.6 not having the grunt for the 3spd. But are you trying to hit 3rd in a bumpy turain? The BP mod will actually increase your low end acceleration as it's geared s...

Re: Alza CD gearing?

If there is any fitment issues it will be the cup hitting the motor. But you can grind the cup down. Right now I have 10/52 installed and I using hellfire cups

Run 50k in the front and 30k in the rear. It will corner better BUT I would highly suggest buying a set of these Hard Steel Bevel Gear Differential you will eat the bevels otherwise

Re: Alza CD gearing?

I run 10/52 on my alza setup with a 1717 size motor, If anything you will have to trim the cup back a little to clear the motor. I personally like 10/46 or 10/48 gearing with the 2200

Re: HPI Savage Speed v2.0

Well a little update, things are progressing smooth. I say that now lol. Before the motor had like 20 min of run time on it, it shredded the bevels in the rear diff and busted a drive shaft lol. Fixed those items and everything is good again. ERCM power is something else lol. I cant wait to fully un...
