Re: wheelie king flux hp

This will be awesome, better add a wheelie bar! It'll get old flipping it back over. I think it will be a lot of fun, I'd set the slipper as loose as you can too.

Re: HPI HOT BODIES D8T - Truggy

Time for an update Sam, how's she holding up? The one thing I dislike about this truggy is the radio/battery box. It's too tight and if you need to swap a battery in a hurry, you're screwed. I am trying to decide betwen this one, the Jammin X2, O'Donell's truggy and a RC8T. my Jammin X1 is wore out ...

Re: Modified Picco .28 drifting

She is def. turning some high rpm's for a .28, I love that sound! The only .28 I have heard wind that high was my 5 port RB modded STS .28. For the one gallon i got from it, she screamed. Bad thing is I knew better than to pay someone to polish a turd!
Nice vid and driving, thanks for sharing.

Re: New Racing Shock towers

The adjustable roll center is a nice feature, good job. An easier way to make more people happy would be to simply make more shock mounting holes. I'd say 3 lower and 3 upper holes would be plenty. I'd much rather see them in some quality Delrin or some other composite material, anything but aluminu...

Re: shock covers.

Shock covers do not work well at keeping out dirt. Find some rubber shock boots or make some from balloons. As long as the boot stays over the shock piston , the oil never gets dirty. It makes a huge difference in the life of your shocks.

Re: What diff oil for Flux?

What is your track like? Loamy, hardpacked, blue grooved, sandy....?
30K in the front and 10K in the rear worked well for Trey7 and myself on our nitros.
Truggies are a whole different animal, the center diff changes the equation drastically. In my truggy I run 7K/20K/5K, Trey runs 7/10/5 in his RC8T.

Re: Used a DX3S.....Crashed my car...Pics

Man that sucks! Spektrums, there is no inbetween. They are either great or they work like yours. I have one of the first DX2 radios, the Tx antenna is broken, the rx wire is missing some rubber shielding and is a bit frayed....it has NEVER let me down. I alos have the DX 3.0, so far it has been just...

A good radio system makes a world of difference too. You can adjust the steering end points properly, where you cannot with the stock radio.

Re: Recomend good .18 motor???

Needs more nitro and less oil. Buy a good quality 20 to 25% nitro fuel with no more than 12% oil. It will run much better. I was thinking of the engine that comes on the Firestorm, it has no LSN. My bad.

Re: Big Joes and Beadlock Rims?

You need the Proline 23mm hexes and yes those tires will fit perfectly. Downside is there is athousand screws in the Proline beaqdlock wheels. You could go with the Axial beadlocks which are 40 series as well and they are 17mm hexes. Just a suggestion. From my experience Proline chrome wheels are no...

Re: Recomend good .18 motor???

SH engines makes some decent .15 and .18 engines that will fit it. Trick is finding one with a LSN adjustment. The current engine you have does not have a LSN and makes tuning near impossible. To get a good idle you have to lean the HSN to far, then it cuts out  in the upper rpms. Richen it up to ru...
