Re: Glitches on first race day.

Glitch buster arrived. So I installed and tested electronics. Everything was working so I started buggy and tested electronics and everything was working. I put the buggy on the ground and drove for a moment and then it took off about 50 yds until it hit a metal stake.

I then installed my 1700 life battery and was able to drive the buggy with no problems.

I then decided to put the 1300 life battery in my savage and it worked fine. My son thought it may have glitched for just a moment in the savage but we are not sure. The idle may have hung for a second. Which would sound like throttle after letting go of the trigger.

To me there has to be something wrong with a connection on the 1300 life battery or a connection in the buggy somewhere. What do you guys think?

Worst case I can just zip tie the 1700 life battery at our next race.

I was surprised I was able to fit a transponder a glitch buster  a receiver and about five feet of servo wires in my receiver box

Me too. However I still need to find the problem because the 1700 life will not fit in my buggy with the cover on. If I needed to I could run it that way but I really like having the cover over the battery.
Today I am going to run it without the on off switch and see if that's it.

After removing the on off switch I started it up and ran it with my 1300 life battery. It ran perfect. I'm debating not using an on/off switch any longer. Thank you  for everyone's input.

Good find, been a long time since I have seen a bad switch. You may want to think about getting a new one though, Opening and closing the battery box to unplug every heat gets old.

You're right I will get another one for convenience.  The wierd thing is the on off switch went out in my savage about a month ago.
