on off switch glitching again

Post by badboy » Sat May 07, 2016 10:50 pm

About one year ago I went racing and my day was cut short because my buggy was glitching.  Both steering and throttle were all over the place.  Eventually I found out the on off switch was bad.  I ordered another one and everything was fine.

Two days ago I was taking some laps in the driveway preparing to race in june and it started to glitch again.  The next thing I knew I had a runaway and I hit a landscape rock and ended up upside down on the concrete with a bent cooling head.  I tried heating it and straightening it but then cracked one of the lower fins.

I just dont understand how I am having on off switches go bad.  I have ordered a hitec switch hoping I will have better luck with a different brand.  I think the on off switch in my savage lasted about six years before needing replacing.  Oh well new cooling head on the way.
