The chassis will be a problem. Once it gets bent, it is never as strong as it was, more than likely it will flex considerably over time, even from minor impacts.

You may want to consider getting a new main chassis. Maybe be able to get one off EBay, or from 5th scale forum, trying posting a wanted add in the Baja section.

How did the damage occur? I've hit a few curbs pretty hard and have not had any major breaks.

You can also check Hobby Fever, (the real SC store), as I have bought some replacement parts for the Baja from there. I'm not sure they'd have the more many hop-ups, but I haven't looked in a while.

Hi guys,

I don't have a large scale but here are some photos I snapped of my friends' bajas in action at our newly done up 8th scale track. Edited out most of the bad landing pics though  :D

Bought an RTR a week ago and I freaking love it. Now my two savage is now collecting dust. I'm also thinking of getting another one.

Any updates on forum recommendations for bajas?  Trading my FLM Emaxx for a very clean 5B SS, looking for info!

Thanks!

The big thing with the Baja are the brakes, they suck big time.
I haven't done any thing with mine yet. but there is a few option.
the cheapest is going to a duel disk kinda like the savage.
the other thing you should have some sort of   kill switch or safety.
if one of these thing takes off on you it could do a lot of damage..
