BST FEEDBACK

Post by SYAWEDIS » Tue Apr 10, 2012 5:45 pm

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there was a way to attach our BST FEEDBACK to our profile somehow, or even to an active BST thread so people can see your feedback without having to shuffle through the entire BST FEEDBACK thread; while not even knowing whether there's any feedback on your or not.

Cheers,

There is no way to do this with the site's current software package.

Would it be possible to copy / paste any of our own feedback from the BST FEEDBACK thread into our own bst thread or would that be against the rules?

I dont see a problem with that. Perhaps put the feedback at the bottom of the Thread
The 'Signature' line is limited to spac

There is a way to set a link in a post, that will take you to a specific spot on a certain space, I'll see if I can dig that up.

Hey dodgedude,

If you can dig that up that'd be great!

I've been thinking about copy / pasting the 3 reviews from the BST FEEDBACK thread to my own BST thread so people can read them, but it would be useful to add a link.

Why not create somewhere for people to create their own feedback thread that people can put feedback into.

Then you just have a feedback link in your sig.

You could create your own feedback thread, but where would you put it?
If you put it in the BST, It would disappear eventually, and you can't "bump" it, or edit it. And with the new BST format coming into play, you couldn't add to it either.

Put it anywhere else, and people will offer their own suggestions on your service, which could be good...for a while. But its too open to flame wars that way.

I think the way the BST Feedback is now is the best it will get. I found the thread that had all the little forum tricks in it, and I was wrong. But if you search for PHP Forum codes through a search engine you may come up with something.
My suggestion would be to make a blog, or even a photobucket folder. Link to that in your sig, You can use Microsoft Paint to create "images" that have your feedback in them.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood, then.

I ended up just copy / pasting three feedback messages from the BST FEEDBACK thread straight into my own BST thread. I just added it as a new message. If admins consider that "bumping" then feel free to remove the message. I just wanted to show potential buyers that people who've bought from me have had good experiences.

Chances are a lot of people will never browse through the BST FEEDBACK thread to locate their seller (if they are in there at all).

Anyway, I quoted the messages from the BST thread straight into mine, let me know if that's somehow against the rules.

Adding a link in our sig to somewhere off-site is another way to do it.

Cheers,
