Well I'm not sure which came 1st, but I had a few Tyco rc's as a kid. One that could rotate the front wheels around to flip the car. A teal motorcycle. Also had the Midnight Pumpkin!

My 1st real rc was a handed down elec. kit built by my bro... Traxxas Bandit (1997) ish. Thing took a beating! No wonder y they stilll make it. I used to open up one side of a foldable table and launch off it a good 15ft    even landed on the landing ramp most the time... wish I had vids

1st nitro rc was my savage s25

Don't buy it 'till it breaks.

My first rc was a Lamborghini Countach Nikko if i remember correct! After 2 weeks i started to rip it apart to see how it worked i put two antenas on it and it had a bigger range it was really cool everyone else chased them around and i was sitting and playing! LOL !Then the lid came off because it was too heavy and we were drag racing with my friends (we were 12!!!) and i was a sure winner!!!!Finaly i burned the motor because i was making experiments with batteries so that was the end of it,but i had great time!I left RCs for a long time....And then i bought a Thunder Tiger sst or something 1/10 truggy with .18 engine!Crazy fast but if it lasted more than 10 min of running without something brake i was very happy! And then SAVAGE came over and stayed until now!!!!!
If it jams force it....
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!
Keep Bashing!!!!!

First non-toy rc was a Schumacher XTR-3E back in 2002 It`s a 1:10 scale 2wd stadium truck with a 21. engine. Then a year later came the Savage 25 that I still have.
Nitro all the way!

First was a radio crap road car, then Tyco turbo hoppers and a rare Tyco Dual Aero Hopper with dual motors.
Then my first real R/C was the RC10, still runs to this day, and yes... those are the original front wheels and tires.
A little worn at this point lol.

First nitro was a black tub RC10GT, I have all 3 GT versions now and a total of 21 R/C's.
Hopelessly addicted!

Not current, and missing a few -

my first was a kyosho pure ten gp alpha 4wd.
still have it to this day. the front end is sitting in pieces just now because i need a few bits for the suspension, but next year when the summer comes back, i'm gonna have it out and ripping up the road.
well, i say ripping up the road, its not exactly fast, but it is bluddy good fun!
i like having a road car coz im so used to beating my truck

My first rc was a gold tub rc10 that I got in 1988.  I had to have one after seeing the movie The Dead Pool.

First was a used Tamiya Subaru Brat from a friend back in 86.

Wasn't long after that, saving and saving every penny, I bought a brand spanking new AYK Radiant.

I was 15 at the time and had a job.  I couldn't drive yet so I had to blow my money on something fun.

Slayerdude, I just hit 22 R/C cars / trucks and have 5 R/C helis...  It's not just a hobby, it's an addiction. That group pic has some odd wheel combinations going on.
75 RCs and counting...
