They're flippin' awesome bikes. Around 150ish H.P. They have what Yamaha calls 'V-Boost'; in a nut-shell, it's a four carb setup that uses 2 carbs from idle up until around 4500RPM, then all four open up and it kicks you in the pants so hard it's shocking. They have a bad reputation for steering wobble if you ride with one hand at lower speeds(up to about 40MPH or so), but that can be cured cheaply with an aftermarket steering stabilizer. Not the best handling bike, but man do they ever pack a punch. They pull so incredibly hard, it's one bike that has actually scared me LOL. The fuel tank is under the seat(as I'm sure you've figured out all ready), and the 'intakes' on the sides are purely cosmetic. The aftermarket exhaust is actually the one on the bike in those pics; the factory OEM ones are the ones on the floor pic. The ones on there sound sort of goofy and 'annoying loud', not 'good aftermarket' loud, and in my opinion don't sound near as crisp or mean compared to the OE ones. The OEM ones sound right wicked at RPM, almost like a high revving small block in a weird way.
All in all you've found a real nice bike there! Based on the year and the mileage, I would think around 5000ish??
