I can confirm that Oakley is now a parking lot. Went by there a couple weeks ago and it was all staked out for construction. A few days later, they had started to destroy it. Bummer!!! That place was perfect. Anyone found another place in South County by chance?

That's too bad :( I only got to use that track once :( I hope we can find a new place. I'll keep an eye out.

Yep, Oakley is turning it into a parking lot :(

There's a spot here that has an area that would be fun to run a Savage: Google Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=33. ... iwloc=addr

secret don't tell anybody, but this is an awesome place get on the 241 (toll road) get off on alton, turn south and head down 1 mile. it looks like a dead end. park on right up against the railing. layed out track on one side of the 10 foot table top jump, free style on the other. Hope you like the track it took me several hours to lay out. oh yea it's in foot hill ranch, if you see the wallmart you're close.

Would that be where Alton PKY meets Irvine BL?

Nope, it's just off the 241 (1 mile south) Alton appears to dead end, but actually you can turn right. Don't park at the end of Alton. the other main cross street is Portola parkway.

Any one up for bashing this weekend??? My truck is pretty much done and it's too clean... I need to get it dirty ASAP! Does anyone know if this bashing area is still around? Or is there any other places in Lake Forest / Irvine Area that would be fun to run at?

Alternative Bash Sites: (All within 10 minutes apart)
- Is this area still around? Bash Site #1

- I also saw this area that could be interesting: Bash Site #2 - Dirt area at the lower portion of the park... looks like it has some excellent mounds and steep hills to attack. Also has a small creek if you want to see if your truck can swim.

- And finally, I heard about this area from a couple of friends (ex-bashers): Bash Site #3 - Was told that it is a dirt bike track that people build up in this private area and bashers also check out this area. Once in a while the land owner flattens the field, and bikers/bashers slowly builds it back up. Not sure what it's condition is right now, but this could be a pretty sweet spot to run.

I'm hoping to meet up with some fellow bashers for a serious session of bashing. Post up if anyone is interested in joining this weekend.

I'm up for some bashing, Saturday looks like rain, But I'm also free on Sunday. If you know of a location, let me know I'll be willing to drive out to OC. I'll be driving out from Venice Beach.

All of the places around here are fenced off and NO TRESPASSING signs allover the place.

I'll keep an eye out for any spots.

lake elsinore is a little too far for me. :(
