Post by TheBupta » Sun Oct 07, 2012 12:25 pm

Hi,

Are you a UK Savage owner?

Can you name any good locations for running your truck or know of any circuits that have a race/competition series??

If so please post below....

Hey all,

I'm also in Bristol. My favourite south west UK spots so far are (after owning a savage xs for a month):

- Long Ashton Woods (just outside Bristol): dirt/mud in steep woods with some tracks.
- Meldon Quarry (just off the motorway in Devon): Loads of grassy bits with bumps/mounds for jumps. I imagine this place would be awesome for crawlers.
- Davidstow Moor (Old WW2 airfield in Cornwall): Lots of grass and triangular mounds for 20 foot jumps. Flat concrete bits for speed runs.
- Bowithick (On Bodmin moor): Offroad craziness. Lots of mounds for jumps. Get's a bit boggy when it rains.
- Ashton Court (just outside Bristol): lot's of woodland and bike tracks. jumps here and there. Watch out for cyclists - they are everywhere!

Hope this helps people.

Theo
