Been out of the hobby for a while... need help

Post by RobMc » Thu Jul 31, 2014 4:45 pm

Hello there forum..

I have the original Savage 25...  I decided to go to the hobby shop and poke around and I ended up coming home
with the extended tvps which come with the rear drive shaft and new motor mount plate...  I went to start putting
it all together and noticed the drive shaft rubs on one of the two support bars that fasten to the plate...  I don't get it...

Maybe I just wasted 79.00....  any thoughts??

Rob

Do the motor mount plate bars have an arch in them? The ones for the savage x have them.

^^ They should have included braces that are milled out for clearance. Just find a set, it will be worth it. The extra length helps imo.
