New top Speed king is crowned !!! 76.8 MPH !

Steve Chris with his TNS Novarossi 28-8 powered Savage just set a new record of 76.8 MPH... truck is just a lowered 4WD Savage too, not even a crazy top speed build...... So congratulations Steve a new king is crowned !!!

76mph is just awesome... Was that with one of Neils modified Nova engines?

The RPM is  33 000 RPM..and it is one of my engines ( I Am Neal )

Jonathon is also at 76 MPH...I think 76.4 or something.... both are within 1 MPH....

Holly crap 33k at 76mph is nuts, that's pulling serious RPM under load.


You guys use that RPM sound gun IIRC to measure RPM right?

Any chance the gearing can be told with wheel size? I'm assuming it's the 3speed, but is it BP modded running the 2speed idler and drive gear?

I had a feeling it would be decent if done right.. I have a normal stock one and its a punchy engine, I really like it even if its not Italian.


Wow y'all basically put a SuperNova into a Savage X with insaine gearing, lowered it a bit and hit a short n curlie under 77mph... That has got to be a serious SuperNova.
