Not sure I follow. Unless you have a Traxxas setup, but even then the receiver batts will not turn the motor over to start it efficiently, and will not have much run time after starting the truck if it does work.

I do have the traxxas stuff. motor, wire harness and housing etc. I have made a spacer which allows me to mount the housing flush to the backplate. I could use the traxxas starter which has its own battery to turn the starter motor but I thoug I would just see how easy it would be too wire it in. It has the normal 4 wires, blue to heat the plug, red and black to fire up the motor and green for the earth. But it's just to see how I would wire up the red, black and blue wire on the reciever so that when I push the aux button my remote it would fire up the plug and engine.

I have seen a few other people do it on YouTube videos, using a spektrum remote to s art there x4.6 and through googling I haven't found any answers yet.

All I know about the traxxas set up is that the blue wire is for the glow plug.I don't own a traxxas, but I'd bet the manuals are online to reference.

Losi has the R.O.S.S. system that uses a small lipo battery, The wiring is close to the traxxas but the starter motor sits on the other side of the motor, They came stock on the original Ten-T

Ditch the rotostart was what I did, no extra battery to carry around. Tuned properly and good plug pull start is the way I prefer.
