Savage xl header

Post by ASBURY » Mon Jul 04, 2016 3:57 pm

Looking for an in-line header for my inline pipe. Right now running savage 4.6 short header without the inline header. Now looking for an inline header for my inline pipe on for my savage any suggestions or do I need to start drilling myself some holes. Right now I have an 41032 header but I have to turn the header upside down to make the right fit? Will the header being upside down will effect anything? But was looking for some other options. Engine legend 28-8

You know the 41032 is really made to go on a buggy pipe to the left but on the savage pipe to the right so when I place the header on the correct way it seems to me it does not sit properly but when I turn it the incorrect way then it seems to fit just right. Say if you are looking Down at the header you will see the writing on the header but when turn upside down you want see the writing on the header and there is where it sits right to me. But let me look at it again bc I have not set the engine in my truck yet so maybe it will be different hope i did not confuse you.

you need to modify the 41032 to fit.... Savages are *censored* backwards to everything else, so a little modifying is in order !
