Tower Has K4.6 Pull Start Assembly.. $22.79

Savage 4.6 being built, Reverse Module controlled by HS-322, Throttle/Brakes controlled by HS-625, Steering Controlled by HS-5945.. All servo's controlled by the best Futaba 3PB PCM... Pro-Line Big Joe's wrapped around Pro-Line Cheyenne 23mm wheels..

You know, I thought the exact same thing.. I got my free one in the mail today.. :)

since they could be gotten no where, aka they never sent spares out to buy, HPI was replacing them for people who broke them.. now that you can buy them, there is no more free ones...

Make sure you locktite the screws on the pull start, I failed to do so and lost 2 screws on the 4th tank of fuel. Guess what, there not even available from HPI yet, they said they'd send me some if they had any but they're waiting on a shipment. I hope my buddy's stainless kit has those included.

The pullstart is pretty simple to rebuild. If you are careful pulling it apart you may not even have to rewind the spring. Pick up some dacron line from a fishing shop, they'll probably cut you some off a spool for free. That stuff is strong.

ha last week i recieved four new pull starts.Mine broke called hpi they said theyll send me one on them.cool so i had three friends call up and say the same thing now i have a brand new one on the car and 3 spares

I think I got the last one from Tower, hehe. 8O

I too didn't locktite the screws-lost all 4 and drove around like that for about 2 tanks without even noticing.

It better get here quick.
