How about a quick guide to shock and diff oils weights? I know alot of people ask about that...
Also I found that thread on hop ups that suck and rock quite helpful....

Also at the back of many manuals there is often a section which states the problem, some possible causes, and possible solutions. Maybe a discussion about that linked in here would be good? For example

problem
-Back wheels grind when turned

Cause
-rear diff case broken
-rear diff gears stripped

Solution
-check diff case for cracks, replace if needed
-check diff gears for stripped teeth, replace

Best solution
-Perform CEN diff mod

Something like this?

Isn?t there a side mounted Mugen Tank Mod that can be done on the savage? I don?t see it on the list under ?Fuel System Mods?. I thought I saw this tank mod before.

Those specific pics dont exist anymore  :(  What do you need exactly? I could snap a few pictures off if you'd like.

Been a few months since this has been bumped. Some of the information is kind of old and as always there are tons of new topics out now. So if anyone has anything they'd like to add to this thread please feel free to post it! Or if you have links to another thread i'll add it to the first post just let me know  8)

i'm actually quite surprised not to see the Uniflow Mod in the Fuel System Mods section....is there a reason why it is not included?...is it becoz it's not effective?....

Hey many of the links in this are dead.  It would be nice to see them if anyone has them backed up.

I'm sure Dejan is quite dissapointed that the Alza-Racing page isn't on here. any newb looking to do a CD should be directed there.

Good thread, however, I have to disagree with those who have stated implementing the 'OFNA Throttle Mod' is the only way they could get their vehicle to brake. While it does reduce some of the torque required from a throttle servo...if you are unable to properly brake or accelerate, it's not due to the stock linkage. It's due to how the stock linkage is set up. ;-)
