I am having a problem with RCBROS right now.  Their website is deceptive.  They show to have product in stock (the only reason I ordered from them) but in actuality they just order from the manufacturer when you place and pay for your order.  (I could have done that!!!!!!!!!)

So here I am 9 days later and nothing has even shipped.

DO NOT USE RCBROS.COM

Yes, but do they claim to have it in stock when they do that?  Not only that they claimed to have only 1 and I needed 4.  So why wouldn't it let me order 4 if they "drop ship"?

FLM said they were out of stock... lol

I had absolutely no trouble with rcbros... i got all of my FLM stuff from them and it took less than 10 business days for delivery to Canada shipping was pnly $11.00....impressive if you ask me, seeing as everything else I order from the states sits on the customs shelf for 3 weeks.

Maybe you just had a bad experience, it states clearly that most products are not stocked and that they order them for you.

I gues im not the only one who has problems with IRC. I ordered the LST conversion for a savage X it arrived in three weeks. I emailed like 5 times an the only way to get his attenition is to whack him in the head with a ball bat. I had to tell him I was going to cancel credit card payments to him and what do ya know he emails me the next day. and says they shipped and was too late to cancel. the kit was missing screws also.

Ive ordered stuff from overseas before and it took half that time to get here

I can tell you this for a FACT! As far as LHS goes, stay out of HOBBY TOWN. A cust went into there and got a Losi High roller. Was charged OVER $500 for a RTR and 1 Extra batt. My fav LHS Coyote Hobbie in Oregon City Or, had the exact SAME RTR on the shelf for $169. This is absolutly taking advantage of a cust. And I believe it was due to there SEVERE lack of caring weather a person gets started rite or not. I actually had the clerk get mad cuz I recomended a SIM. He said how was he supposed to sell parts if they learn not to crash. CENSOR THEM
I'm not a Superstar. I cant even drive like one.

I went through RC Hobbies 4 life last month and had no problems with them, they did ship my order out in 3 days like they stated and got my stuff in 2 days, overall it took only 5 days. They also have the lowest prices and had everything i needed in stock, i would recommend it to anyone especially when your looking to save money on the parts and shipping.

Hope this helps.

dodge - i have ordered from philshobby before....and had a positive experience....
Having said that, your case is different of course, becoz of that mugen tank which is "nowhere to be found"....

maybe give alittle more leniency, and another email to ask for the tank delivered, or full refund for that amount....state the number of days you expect for refund...and if you dont get it, then start a dispute........

I ordered my FLM upper & lower a-arm kit, engine plate, and servo tray from RcBros and it took them 2 week to process the order.

They said they had 1 of the suspension kit in stock and after I received my order 22 days later there web site showed none in stock..

I had no problems with them other then the long wait for shipping..

Good luck.!!!

Is Active Powersports any good? I notice all of their prices are, like, $10 cheaper than all the rest...

I hear you rokie, Maybe I was a little hot headed as the message to the forum was more along the lines of lack of communication. We agreed that they would not send the package untill all parts were accounted for, then I recieved the box and spring without the tank. I did email them again today but I dont appreciate being left in the dark. I will retract my statment when everything turns out OK, but if they cant find the part why is it still on their site for sale? I have not left neg feedback for phils and prefer not to. I offered today for them to refund the money for the tank and await their response.

Thats not cool man, if there are eny issues with a sale, proper communication is what look for with ebay. That is all that is required. I have only been scammed once on ebay but that was when I started buying from ebay, since then no problems at all, when something goes wrong the sellers will do anything in their power to keep you happy.

I can recommend plcman and nitronutzz, both great sellers. Nitro nutzz sent me two left xl tvp's once and when I informed him of the mistake he sent me 2 right tvp's no charge, just to apologies for the mistake.

So dodge I do not think that you are being hot headed, a little communication goes along way.

agreed - communications is important....

And for your case dodge - you did mention to send all the goods in one package, which they didnt...and plus if they still have the item advertised, they should remove the advert if it is no longer available....

give him a day/two to refund you....
