I have officially gotten the itch to build another project. I am going to try and keep up with your new rail. Thanks to all the hard work and documentation that you have provided I think I have a few ideas on what to do to make a savage speed rocket of my own. Unfortunately I think Robin is so tied up making speed mods for you guys I will have to fly solo on this one. The only bad part is there is snow here now so I will have to wait until spring to document any runs :( . This is fun stuff, I love new builds.
I got banned for being an idiot

Check dude... I speak with Robin almost every day. If you call him and tell him your down to make a run at the record, he's down. My last motor he created changed the game. My 59mph motor was built with torque in mind, not speed.  Let me tell you this. I am gunnin for 70. If a 10lb Revo can hit 75 why can't I? My truck weighs 10.1lbs. I have a few ideas to get it into the 9lb range.

I say bring it on man. You have things to offer and so do I. I'm curious to see what you come up with. Don't worry about the snow. It's winter here too. But best believe I will have this motor broke in by spring time

Tagging this to remember to come back and give a brief read over when time is available. Then move on to 65 :)

If you read the entire thread, the subject is building a Savage to reach the highest speed possible, not what vehicle to by that is built to go fast.
