Hello,

The savage hasn't run yet. My friend would like to finish the body before runing !

But now, the body is paint, so he will run with his savage and i will say to you how the savage "feel", and how the hellfire shocks works etc...

The pictures of the body : (he has to do the hole on it)

Thank you ;) But i repeat, it's not my savage, but the savage of a friend who doesn't speak english very well

News pics of the body, painted and with hole :

Nearly, pics with crime fighter wheel ! ;)

Weight of the body with circlips : 139 g

 Recapitulation of all the weight of the different versions of the savage (all without nitro) :

- Pro-line tires and Kyosho wheels with Nova cooling head : 4.100 kg

- Pro-line tires and kyosho wheels with HPI cooling head : 4.138 kg

- HPI tires and wheels with Nova cooling head : 4.388 kg

- HPI tires and wheels with HPI cooling head : 4.417 kg

So the best weight of his savage is 4.100 kg

That body is stunning! I usually much prefer truck bodies, but that looks good with the chrome, decals, phaltlines and low stance.

Now, VIDEOOOOOOOOOOOOS! :D

also, I notice the racing suspension has some caster to it, does this make those phaltlines sit funny when the steering is turned? Because they are so flat I would imagine it would make them tilt on their edge, unlike the round shaped crime-fighters.

First off....thats the best looking Savage I have ever seen. I really like Cabbie's Savage also, but this one is even better IMO.

Quick question...how did you mount the CF radio cover? I am using lexan and was looking for ideas on how to mount it.

From the photos it looks that he made holes in the original mounting poles, and screwed it with screwz (they were screwed into the poles :P) - that's how it looks to me

What springs do you use on those hellfire shocks? And are they stiff enough?

The derlin spur gear is a GPM one, and after 1.5 liters, it look like as a never used gear

For the firt try, he used red spring (hpi), and it was too strong, so he uses the yellow if i have a good memory

He puts a protection for the carbon tvp :
