A 2cell lipo will save some more weight over the 5 cell Nimh...

What weight shock oil do you use? I love you're truck!

wouldnt the electronics get damage or will they get reduced life with 7.4v lipos since they are usually rated at 4.8-6v

just curious since i've been thinking about this mod for quite some time

I am just amazed on how LOW your savage is. If you didn't know any better you would think that first picture was two truggys.

Can't wait for the inevitable videos!

The old truck was only 4 seconds slower around the track than the truggy so i hope to close that gap a little, i have a hot bodies d8t truggy so i will be running them on the same tracks with the same conditions so i guess i will get to see how it goes.

One of the guys out here with a losi m/t has infact beaten his own losi eight 2.0 truggy times with his truck around the same track on the same day, i guess it comes down to the driver and the clean laps during any one heat in the end...... i cant wait bring on the week end

LMAO - I didn't think you'd be able to hold off until after Bordertown to show off the new beast Sam.    :D

Guys - Even though they are great pics, they don't do this machine justice. It is so low, and wide and tough looking in the flesh. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!

So are you racing it at Sunshine Sam? Or r u gonna wait 'til Bordertown.

Well mine does, the header as a small lip where the slots onto the exhaust port on the carnk case and this lip presses against the rotostart backplate. Since this pipe is meant to be mounted on the righ side of the engine (looking down the crankshaft with the carb pointing towards you) the lip has already been filed down to clear the pullstart/rotostart backplare. The holes for the spring will most probably have to be redrilled since the dont sit horizontally with the pipe on the left side.

I Just need a reference to work from.

O and for those who are wondering, the header does fit in on standard length TVP's provided you remove the shocks closest to the header.
