Hi Sam!

First congrats to this impressive build! It looks gorgeous! I am sure it handles like no other Savy I saw.

I want to get myself a PRC chassis but have a question. I want to get the extended LCG TVP from them, is yours also LCG?
If so, do you have a clue if it would be possible to mount the receiver box Innovative RC offers below the ofna tank plate
from PRC on this chassis?
Also I don't now which dogbones to get with these TVPs. I have a XL and the bones that come with it.

I would really appreciate your help so I can finally start my build.

Thanks!

Well thats easy to answer yes to the irc mid tank mod will fit the same holes as the xl chassis plates, the rear dog bone comes with the tvp set from platinum so you are all good to go, i have the lcg entended kit, which also comes with the engine plate, bottom skid plate which would be a great build start.....good luck and remember the better the build the better the ride.

Hey just realized who you were I was talking to you on plaig. Didnt realize you lived so close to me either. Truck looks good but I agree its more a truggy now. I think it kinda ruins it being a monster truck. Just watched a vid and dam your a good driver. Was also wondering about the lcg. Does it make the ride height any lower or just mount everything lower on the tvp?
Thanks.

The height of the front and rear bulkheads/skids relative to the ground stays the same, but the centre of the chassis is lowered to the same height as them rather than being raised up, so you get less ground clearance between front and back wheels.

Hope that makes sense!

Yep that makes sense. Do you do local events Sam? Might come by one day. Where is your local track?
Thanks.

Why arent you running the ercm pipe. Do you like the 086 better.

ERCM pipe was awsome but to loud for track racing, the 086 serves its well on the track

Wow I thought you would never reply

I figured the ercm was probably not legal in most races.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread! LOL I was just asking about this build when I came back into RC a couple weeks ago. Saw it on other forums now I can read about it in better detail here.

SavageSam you inspired me to buy a 8ight T body for my new build!

You say was?

does that mean it no longer exists?

What happened to it?

Did you get to race it much? was it competitive?

No i had it sitting for 18 months on the mantel piece next to the national championship trophy, took it out for an exhibition race then back on the mantel doing nothing, so yes it got sold on across the ocean to the u.s.a.

glade its in the hands of some one that could enjoy it weekly rather than a show piece.
