Interested to hear how the Big Red performs, I loved the original Mach .26 that it is based off of.

I'm interested too! Not to much information I have found on it. In some forums people have said it is the older LRP.28 others say its a hotter version of the Losi 427. I'm just gonna have to wait and see. So far from the people who I've asked who run it, say that it's pretty beast.

The Losi 427 is basically a Mach .26, owned them both years ago. I currently have a Mach .28 platinum in my poor sav that hasn't been run in a year or so, it's a low end torque monster from what I remember....

Its is the first verv. Lrp spec. It rips just like the three spec. Almost the same eng. missing two tiny bypass ports. Neal said they dont do squat anyway. I have one as well as a spec three and losi 454. All the same bgreat engines

Redrum. I like it. Thought you were a little young for the shinning b

So I gotta question then...is this engine truly a .28 or is it a .26? Or even a .27? I don't really trust advertising anymore I rather hear it from you guys

Appreciate it brotha! So it's more closely related to the LRP.28 and 454 rather than the 427/mach .26...Correct?

Yes if you wanted to. Theyre more expensive and not much power gained. All the Sh .26/27/28 have the same head patteren. Mack.26, losis454,bigred;sh, lrp are all interchangeable.

hmmmm ok coo. I'll probably give it a try after I drive her a couple gallons to get a really good feel for it to see if there is any noticeable differences. Thank you very much! If I would have known that you knew about these engines you would have saved me the headache of watching big red unboxings or horrible representations of it running LOL. There's maybe like 3 or 4 vids that show it moving pretty nicely...here's one I seen that I liked

Here's a video of the Big Red.....Ran 1/2 a gal on the Big Red with a dynamite 086 and 17/45 gearing. The bottom was way too soft for my tastes with this setup. Decided to gear down to 16/45 and switched to a 053 cause the engine didn't have enough torque to pull higher gearing. Needless to say, the engine came alive and I'm liking the 053 and 16/45 gearing better. Still want to try 15/45 on it, and I'm also waiting for a THS pipe to try it out. Making progress...I attached a teaser here and check it out my full vid on YT!

Well....Once I'm done messing with the current setup, this will be patiently waiting.

Nice set-up! I am just curious what wing mount did you use for the OFNA wing and the FLM Rear Shock Tower? I am planing to put a wing mount using FLM as well. Thanks :)
