Curl it under the retainer to the inner part of the spring top and bottom.

Thats it huh.  I did that too but just thought it was too simple lol.  I saw a fella on youtube do the zip tie trick but he was using tire tubes.  Shame to cover up the nice shock bodies, but gonna have to keep the dirt out some how!

when you slide the cover over you should have excess material on both end, fold the rest inwards use the shock retainer on the bottom of the shock to hold it in place, just like this one.

i like it because it looks cleaner.

Never thought of that. I always used zip ties. I always put them on the assembled shock.

Still waiting for the shock mounting kit so I did the tried and true all metal BP tranny, with the Acers and hex hardware.  When shimmed it sure feels a lot better, spins freely but has a tighter feel.

Just going to keep this one as a spare until I blow up the stock one.  Blowing things up is fun!

Also have the LST shocks ready to go with aluminum bodies, TiN coated rods, dual rate springs and socks to cover all the prettiness up

I am officially out of things to do until the mounting kit shows up, hoping to see it next week....

Sorry nitronly, I was drunk posting last night lol.

She's modded and waiting for a couple months to start the break in.  Hopefully we get some warm weather sooner than later...

Don't know what he used specifically but I used something similar.  Integy Ball Ends.  I think they are/were T7971.  Just a piece of all-thread to connect them.

Thanks messiah, some guys have some really lowpro looking stuff.
The Integys were on my list, and then looking for a 3mm machine screw and chopping off the head lol as I know I found find anything neater than that out here.
