the savage 25 aluminum project will give way to a new project............it will be an onroad front engine fully customized truck here are some pictures of the progress till now

the diff housing were changed to aluminum ones

and this is the result, built with 7075 aluminum

i just bought new aluminum cluches, reciever box to be fitted also 44t spur and high speed 3rd speed gear, also another shell is ordered

will post more pictures next week cause i need to finish the other tvp at the moment

rebuilding front diff is next on the list

front diff has been rebuilt with 20k oil diff

hinge pins were replaced with studs all round

upper hinge pins stoppers

rear skid plate with before and after some sanding and polishing

both diff assembles are now almost ready

in the mean time the tvps are ready in 7075 aluminum and treated in alocrom

today i begun to put things in place to see if everything is fine then i will dismantle everything again and rebuilt it

first tvp and gearbox in place

the old body is modified to see that the engine is in the correct place

You could have extended the front a little bit so the motor isn't sitting directly ontop the bell crank but instead the header would be over it and it would still allow the motor to sit lower like it should.

i think i will shorten the steering setup and fit it under the engine........its a bit complkicated but will try my everything to solve this one man

Try a bellcrank from and on road car. The only issue I for see is the drag link will need to be raised in the center to clear the bulkhead where the pinion comes out.

i will have to see next weekend cause at the moment i am a bit busy..........if i see that there is a lot of trouble to fit it there i will fit the whole setup infront of the diff!!!!!!!!!!!

Impressive you say you hope it will be a better truck.. in what way!? Will it drasticaly change how it handels? I know the weight of the engine is still within the wheelbase but wont shifting it forward make the truck change direction slower and understeer more
