Post by simonbelmont » Fri Sep 11, 2009 5:44 pm

Ive been running into all this stuff regarding 1/16 brushless.  Im interested,  who knows about this? Maybe HPI will be involved to make it durable enough?

Huh? What are you talking about?

The only 1/16 brusless trucks i know off is the mini e-revo and the mini slash.

The other trucks, truggies and buggies are all 1/18

I haven't heard anything about 1/16 except for traxxas. I dont think castle or novak even make 1/16th scale systems.
Like pluh said, there are people running brushless 1/18's.
Savage, Mini-T, Wheely king, Slash. Too many hop ups to list.

If it isn't broken why not break it?

I would love to own a 1/16 vxl revo.....but even better than that I would LOVE to see HPI make a exact replica of the flux but 1/16

I think he means He would like to see HPI making 1/16 scale trucks that are durable, unlike the traxxas 1/16.

I have driven a e revo 1/16 at the track and I must say that it is pretty durable except for the driveshafts...they tend to pop out....other than that I was pleased. But still waiting to see if HPI might release a 1/16

yes thank you. ? ?Not to mention........it should be SUPER wide.

I was also wondering if anyone owned one, or used one, has any general opinions about it.  Thinking about brushless this fall, but for less than it cost to get into the Savage Flux.  Trinity has one,  interesting.

i have 2 of the mini revos and i gotta say the little trucks are a whole lotta fun. we beat the living snot out of them and they've held up alot better than i expected. in the few months since i've had 'em we've had to replace 2 chassis, front & rear bulk, a dozen or so a-arms (mostly top fronts), blown shock caps, a few body mounts, and various other bits & pieces. i actually don't consider that bad for the crap we put these trucks thru.

since i picked up the mini revos and discovered the beauty of brushless i converted my savage x into a brushless system and now it's pretty much a stock flux.

i would love to see hpi compete in this new 1/16 category with a mini savage or a hellfire.

I'd like to see HPI compete as well. I bought a mini revo about 6-7 weeks ago. Pretty fun, but wish HPI could have been an option.
