Big Joe II's Anyone have them yet?

Post by SavageBasher7 » Wed Apr 09, 2014 11:44 pm

I would like to see pics if anyone has any of the new Big Joe II's in any size. I am thinking of getting a set of these or Trenchers in 2.2 for my XS. Thanks

id be interested to see this too. Ive been checking out the 2.2's. i keep seeing them on the desperado wheels. Arent the desperado's 36mm wide? i would think that would be too narrow for the joe's at 58mm wide.

I just installed the Big Joe II 2.2 premounted on Desperado wheels, and think they are much better than stock. They are wider, but not a lot taller, so I haven't adjusted the gearing. They hook up very well, but balloon like crazy at top speed. I'm glad I installed the Traxxas 1/16 wheelie bar, as well, for launches.

I'm a few months late but did you have any motor high temp problems with the joes? I just installed some on my xs and now my motor and battery cable are extremely hot after 1 pack and my truck shut down 1/2 way threw another. Running stock. Vector/vapor pro and 28/56 gearing on 2s.

Those look great! Any updates on how you like them so far?

Anyone else have these yet? I bought a set of 2.2/3.0 trenchers and Pro line split six bead locks but the offset is narrower than stock.   Might sell and go to a different setup because I'm not seeing any options for widening the XS at this point.
