Did you write something???
dang it yes i dont know what happend.

Anyhoot . some people think they need to tape the whole tire. IMO doing so makes your tire not flex at all now you have seen a truck upside down and the tires streatching outwards (away from the rim)
using my method stops that but also alows the tire to widen giving you better traction and stoping ballooning! either way works and i have tryed both ways and found my method is the best. and dont worry about the tape coming off just clean and let the tire dry before taping. mine has been thruogh a axial .28 and is now taking the abuse of a axial .32 with no problems. same tires and rims with the orignal tape. let me know if i can help in any other way.

LOL....when we get e-mails to a subsribed thread, the new post is included. When I went to the actual thread, it wasn't there.  So like Sherlock Holmes  (more like dopey Dr. Watson), I searched for clues and found your post inside the quote.

sweet let me know how it turns out! and dont over do it with the tire glue its easy to make a mess and get it all over your rims take your time and make sure you get them mounted correctly.

Nice thread, I found it very informative, at first i was thinking how can tape on the tires give more traction when your covering the grip on the center of the tire. Good thing you guys posted that you put it on the inside of the tire, lol.

This sounds like a good fix for the balloooning and i will definately give it a try when I get the old savage back on the dirt.

lots of issues with the new K4.6 engine and now some linkage problems but with the help of the Savage experts on here I am getting the problems worked out.

cant wait to smell that nitro again.
