By far what is the best adhesive to glue the tires to the rims?

Beadlock wheels.

Eliminates the need for glue.

Bead locks can rip apart under hard bashing, at least thats my experience.

Losi Tire glue has worked well for me since I got into the hobby. I use the thin stuff, and use a lot of it. Far more than is recommended or needed.
Get the tire on the rim, and glue the crap out of one side, do it to all four tires. By the time you have one side of all four tires glued, its dry and ready for the other side to be done.

ok thanks guys.. ive never done tires or wheels yet. Ive heard baking them helps brake the glue off a old set of rims. I was looking at the bead locks.. what if you used those along with the glue?

using glue and beadlocks totally defeats the purpose of beadlocks. beadlocks on RCs is more to remove the tires than to hold them on, however they do seem to work excellent on both points. however the are heavier than standard rims. I gotta say I like Axial rims over proline when it comes to 40series wheels. the bead contact is excellent on the axial oversize 17mm wheels, and the 8 spoke wheels look BAD A**. I had a set of un-strapped trenchers (not the "X"s) and while doing some 6s bashing the tires actually ripped apart and stayed completely seated to the bead!

I've used a few different glues and they all seemed to work well. The biggest difference was made when preparing the tires and wheels. Some tires still have a mold release agent on the tires that don't allow the beads to adhere well. Also what seemed to work well for me is to scuff the bead area of the wheel with some sandpaper.

no No NOOO!!!. That stuff is perfect for putting together a bookshelf but as it cures (it takes a few hours) its going to foam up and go everywhere! if you can get to your LHS Team Losi makes some of the best CA tire glue out there but elmers KrazyGlue will work in a pinch, and even when using "instant" CA glue give your tires at least half an hour to cure before you use them. Invest in CA glue you'd be amazed what you can fix with it! if your glue is the stuff im thinking about its thick and brown in a short fat container.

No one mentioned the most important factor in gluing tires to rims..... Clean the tire bead before you glue it. All tires have a mold release agent on them from the manufacturing process, and it must be cleaned off before you glue the tires to the rim. A shot of motor spray on a rag and wipe the bead off until the rag no longer turns black. Other than that, stay away from "super 'glue" and use a hobby grade tire glue.
