Hi guys, just got back into the hobby after being out of for 8 years.

Last nitro truck I had was a first generation T-Maxx and the Savage X 4.6 seemed like the perfect thing for me.

So far I've changed

- The stock pipe for the polished HPI one.
- The stock steering servo for a 15Kg item.
- Put the stock steering servo as the throttle servo for slightly more breaking power.
- Put some Pro-Line Big Joe II's on it
- Added a 1600mAh HPI hump pack
- Added an RPM center skid plate

Also have a brand new speed that's been taken out of a Savage XL which should be here tomorrow.

Got no other plans to change parts on the truck now unless I break something on it, in that case the part that I break will be replaced with a beefier option.

One thing I am struggling with though is tuning, when ever I run the truck at full throttle and then let off the rpm's jump really high and it's only when I put the brakes on that the truck idles as normal, any idea's? I've tried following the guide on here and rich-ended and leaned out both needles and just can't it to stop!
