It would be really cool if we could make another map with racing and bashing spots with exact locations.

I added mine :), there's no-one near me :(

Stickied in the Introductions Forum, so all new members will hopefully see it.
I seem to remember a long time back someone tried this, but I dont think the map was as good. This map is excellent, easy to use and very detailed.

I also like the idea of a bash/track map

I would suggest something like...

using the candle for tracks (or sunflower or an actual symbol rather than color) And using the description box for information such as nitro/electric rules, dirt-carpet or tarmac track, and whatever else may apply to the specific location

This is an excellent Idea

Wow, I'm glad this worked out so well and you guys like it. I didn't even think about mapping out places to bash, that's a really good idea. I'll add some also, there are a couple parks and skate parks that I go to.

I'm glad that I can contribute something positive to the S-C community, especially since you guys have helped me so much.  :D

I just added a skate park near me, with the full address, a picture and a video! This is cooler than I thought.

Had to make some additions to the map. If anyone comes through my area, be prepared to have a nice place to run.
There is/was a race track in GP. Gotta be some bashers out there...
The track is still here, They have done some work to it in the last few years. Even has a proper driver stand now. But I'm not into racing, and the racers here aren't into bashing.
Most of the bashers here keep to their own, We aren't very welcome in the LHS because they dont sell anything worth while.

Basically, If I was a racer, I would have people to race with. But being a basher......They're darn hard to find.

I have thought about putting an event together at my place, I have enough room to host 30+ people, but would need to build a track and bash pit first. I figure that would be the best way to find some local bashers.
The other thing is, GP seems to be a very T*****S orientated city

I actually gained some local interest with my puller on RCU, they were willing to open up their straight away as a pulling track. But I never heard anything back, and now I work away from home anyways. I know the last president of the local RC club was friendly, but when I dropped in to meet people I was less than impressed and havn't returned since. It didn't help that the guy at the LHS made no secret of not liking my HPI Savage preference, and tried to tell me things like RPM arms were crap, and SHD drive train would not work on an X4.6

Anyways, Thats my rant.
Going to add the Local track and bash spot to the map :D
