I recently installed the Robinson v3 racing clutch and I have a question about the diffs front and rear. I purchased the hardened spider and bevel gears and have already replaced the front gears out. Yesterday I ran my truck a few times and noticed the rear going out so I took the truck apart to replace that diff with the already purchased gears. We'll my question is why is the diff case all cracked up but all the gears look unscathed? Is it the case that's not strong enough or the four screws that bolt it together? I ask this becuse three of the four screws are sheared. Do I need to use harden screws , and a stronger diff case? I just don't really know what's going on here. I would think that if it was the gears that they would of been Shredded to pieces. How tight should I tighten the clutch? Thanks for any help on this matter.
