Battery Box Dimensions - Savage Flux HP

Post by b17flyboy » Tue Jul 07, 2015 5:56 am

Please could anyone tell me the dimensions of the battery boxes on the Savage Flux HP? <I>
(Preferably internal dimensions but external would give me an idea).

It's for a project... Don't want to spend

You can fit 3 servo's inside the box so that will use up a lot of the internal space..

I made some pics for you.

Many thanks for the info. I may have confused you, I was looking for the dimension of the side-slung battery boxes that hold the LiPos.

Thanks.

HPI recommends, on their Savage Flux HP product display webpage, a specific battery pack. On HPI's product display page for said battery pack, the blurb states:: "This LiPo pack is custom-fitted for the dual-battery Savage Flux HP, to completely fill out the side battery holders" and at the bottom they list that battery's dimensions as 196x51.6x30. In other words, HPI states, regarding the battery trays that they designed and manufacture, that they have a space of exactly 196x51.6x30mm. Otherwise those batteries would either not fit, or would not "completely fill out" the battery trays.

That being said, primary sources are not what they used to be.
