Alza cd

Post by greywolf123 » Sun Oct 04, 2015 8:12 am

Just ordered the alza cd. I have read a lot on here about using the vorza center diff for the alza. my question is," can you use any center diff or does it need to be the vorza",?

I have looked and cannot find the gearing chart for the alza cd mod. Can anyone help me out here? I have the vorza diff with the 48 t spur and all I have is the 20 and 25 t pinion. What will those pinions give me?

Hi I'm in the middle of the alza conversion too. You will need to use a much smaller pinion or you will be geared way too high and cause heat issues. If your using a bigger motor that will run cooler like the 1717 you can gear it higher though I think. 11t is what I'm going with the stock motor seems like others have luck with this. Tekno pinions are strong.

Hi, you can use any 1/8 center Buggy or Truggy diff just as LLkoolskillet said. I per say ordered and installed a Trophy Truggy Flux 50T diff and paired it with a Tekno Racing 11T pinion on stock Motor and ESC. I just finished my Alza CD and XL conversion a few weeks ago and have put 7 packs though it (3 packs off-road and 4 packs on-road on Proline Trencher X mounted on Desperado Wheel
