Savage Flux Bevel Gear Upgrades

Post by kelles » Tue Feb 09, 2016 4:44 am

Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade my flux bevel gears and would like to know what my options are. I have done my research and these are some important posts and videos i found so i have compiled them here.

I know that some people used to replace the stock bevel gears with the Hot bodies ones but that is discontinued, these were really cheap and strong.

I also know that there was a GPM hardened bevel gear but also discontinued. These were stronger than the hot bodies  but really expensive.

Others say that they have used the Trophy bevel gears, these are instock.

has anyone used the trophy bevel gears, do they actually fit in the savage flux?

i used and old diff to repair my neighbors trophy flux.  the internals are the same.  Looks like the trophy diffs internals are sintered, not good for brushless.

Thanks for the reply, so there are no upgrades to the savage flux bevel gears currently on the market?
