Is it possible to do this mod with a standard-size servo? It sounds weird to do this mod and mount a standard servo but I want to do this to make room for some electronics. I want to keep using my Savox servo.

OK. The two engine mounts are on the way. I guess I also have to see if the servo can be in the same place. I want to keep using the same steering rod and the servo saver.

I am hoping to create enough room to mount a waterproof box right next to the servo.

Hi, sniffing on doing this mod myself. But have I couple of questions.

First, I cant fint that servo you are using, are this 1 a good choice instead? Hitec HS-805MG Mega Torque 1/4

And about the chassic braces, are you sure SAV1016 is correct?

Hmm. So I ordered the parts I need. But wondering what the parts that I marked in red the drawing is for?

And do you still recommend driving without servo saver? (I bought the Hitec Digital HS-5765MH HV Quarter Scale )

So I did the mod awhile ago. Still working god.
Guess the ultimate test is how long the servo will last now that is oversized, Im running without servo saver and had it like this for a couple of months now.

Here are some picture I took while I had some maintenance to do.
