Jedi,

I have now received the 28-8 and awaiting 9886 pipe and 4001 manifold. I tried to post pictures of the unpackaged engine but for some reason I can't post them.

My question is what Venturi do you recommend? I know bigger equals more top end but it also sacrifices bottom end.

Included in the engine are 6.5mm, 7mm, 7.5mm, 8mm, 8.5mm and 9mm.

Also the manual recommends 25/10% nitro but 25/14% for run in... What is your recommendation?

on a 28 a large insert doesn't lose bottom end, if anything it will help it....... on a race .21 a big insert can slow throttle response, but doesn't hurt the actual power..... So I suggest you run a 9 mm with that engine....

We run 30/7............so I suggest something along those lines.. anything over 10% oil is unnecessary

Thanks again Jedi!

Sorry for the double posting - I was having problems with uploading pics and didnt intentionally ask the same question twice. And then asked it a third time in text after I couldn't see picture posts

9886/4001 Nova pipe and manifold combo received. The upgrade parts list is complete and ready to go ... Break-in to commence this weekend. . . Going to take it slow. I'll post the results and pics
