I live in Japan, and it has been released for a couple of weeks here already. They have both the engine & non engine versions available.

Here is a photo of it painted, not the nicest color combo - I thought the green was going to be much darker, almost black.

dual needle adjustment, pull start, ABC construction, and Roto
Start compatible
Exhaust: Tuned pipe with aluminum header
Fuel Tank: 5.4oz (160cc), flip top cap

I had an open box today and looked thru the parts unfortunatly the diffs and tranny are allready assembled even the engine mount is installed it looks like for any of us experianced at assembling one it will only take 2-3 hours tops. even the shocks were assembled. now your gonna have too tear the diffs apart to 4 spider them

I cant see what all the hype is anyway. Its pretty expensive and its not all that upgraded to begin with. You could just buy a RTR Savage .21 sell the engine, radio, and wheels and tires on EBAY (youd probably get $200 minimum) and build it exactly the way you want. My Savage .21 and I'm sure 90% of all other Savages on this board are built well above SS specs and with a lower initial purchase price.

Sounds like a whole lotta trouble and a major pain in the *censored* to me

Plus, you can build the kit in like 3-4 hours........buy an RTR, take out the motor, ebay it order a new one.......lotsa time, id rather buy it, build it and play

I though I heard somebody mention a website called "bashingplaces.com", but I couldn't find it. Is there a good web site devoted to sharing good bashing places? I live in Irvine, CA.

SavageCanuck, the shocks were NOT assembled on my SS kit, by the way.
