Official Abbreviation Cheat Sheet

RC TERMS

645 = Hitec Servo
94357 = Airtronics servo 200/.10
34358 = Airtronics servo 200/.10 w/ heat sink
ALU = aluminum
ARO = after run oil
BACKPLATE = this is the rear part of the engine, it is what the pullstart bolts to
BASHING = driving the truck like you stole it
BDC = bottom dead center
BST = Buy Sell Trade
CARB = carburetor, this is the means of getting fuel into the engine
CB = Clutch bell
CC = Cubic Centemeters
CF = carbon fiber
CI = Cubic Inch
Clutch bell = Metal gear on end of engine that turns spur gear
COOLING HEAD = the part with the fins on it bolted to the top of the engine
CVD = Constant Velocity Driveshaft
Ext. = Extended (usually the TVPs)
FLM = ?Fast Lane Machine
FW = flywheel
GH = Golden Horizons
HB = head button
HD = heavy duty
Head Button = thing glow plug screws into
HPI = Hobby Products International
HSN = high speed needle
HTL = Half tank lean (a pressure problem in the fuel system)
IDLE = the lowest RPM an engine will run at
IRC = Innovative RC
LCG = Low Center of Gravity(usually TVPs)
LHS = local hobby shop
Loc-Tite = bold locking liquid
LSN = low speed needle
MSN = mid speed needle
OWB = one way bearing
PM = Private Message
RPM = revolutions per minute
RTR = ready to run
RX = Receiver
SC = Savage-Central
SCS = Savage-Central Store
SG = Spur gear
Shim = small washer in thousandths of inch
Spur Gear = This gear meshes with the Clutch Bell
TH = Tower Hobbies
TI = titanium
Tranny = Transmission
TRS = Throttle Return Spring
TT = Twisted Toys
TVP = Twin Vertical Plates or the chassis plates
TX = Transmitter
WOT = wide open throttle

OTHER TERMS

AFK = Away From keyboard
BTW = By The Way
BRB = Be Right Back
FTL = For The Loss
FTW = For The Win
IMHO = In My Huble Oppinion
IMO = In My Opinion
Jk = Just Kidding
LMK = Let Me Know
LMFAO = Laugh my %^&*ing *censored* off
LMAO = laugh my *censored* off
LOL = laugh out loud
PITA = Pain In The *censored*

QFT = Quoted For Truth
ROFL = rolling of floor laughing
ROTFL = Rolling On The Floor Laughing

CNOT-Closed NOt Open Throttle (DUnno RC UNIVERSE ???) I think it means idle
SC-Savage Cental
SCS- Savage Central Store (Three THUMBS UP BTW)
BTW- By the Way
TTU- Three Thumbs UP
645-Model Number of Hitec Servos (many variation if unsure go to www.hitecrcd.com)
STS- Engine manufactuere (Many say its the best bang for your buck)
Hmmmm- Means Savage_Star just had a brain fart and is thinking how to fix it
Ouch- kind way of saying your pretty much screwed (ie savage-star's glow driver has him ouched)
*CENSONSORED*= naighty word Tisk Tisk
TT= Twisted Toys (GOOD STUFF)
LCG TVP- LOwered Center Of Gravity Twin Vertical Plates
TVP- Twin Vertical Plates (Cahssis or as I call them The Shiny metal thins that hold everything together)
CF- Carbon Fiber
QDCF-Quasi Directional Carbon Fiber
EXT TVP= Extended Twin Vertical PLates (they come in varios length extensions)
EXt= extended
Shock OIL- The oil inside the shock wich creates dampeining
X Wieght- X= wieght of oil higher the number thicker the oil.(Would go higher then 45 in a savvie Stock is 10wieght.
Silicone OIL- Higher Grade of OIl does thin or thicken with weather changes.

They only sticky realy important useful things that have had been asked for many times. Also i was talking to squid and he's doing a sticky house cleaning like kitty did a tread cleaning last night. He will be moving this to the FAQ section soon.

I know what stickies are, and what they are for. Oarie said he would, it just never happened for whatever reason. Doesnt really matter, however, as this list is an improvement on the last and helpful none the less. Good job.

What was Oarie gonna make a stiky for of yours? Also thanks on the complement it took for ever to find all the definitions and to orginize them all in order spelling wise.

C.I. = Cubic inch

C.I.D = Cubic inch displacement

C.C = cubic centimeters
