no a supercharger is not worth your money. I would just forget about it, and buy other things for your truck.

Superchargers do have an effect on 2 stroke engines, they boost volumetric efficiency, and thus increase the density of the air/fuel charge in the cylinder, creating more power. However, for $200 you can spend your money in far better ways...

Do a search guys, this comes up every month. Dyno results show it is just not worth it. If they worked, Pros would have them and magazines would be advertising the *censored* out of em. I wish they did work though. I love the whine of of a S/C on an engine!

Could you imagine trying to keep the temps down with a turbo!! I think it would run hot all the time. Adding an intercooler would be too much
My neighbor has a Grand National and runs crazy amounts of boost. His exhaust pipes glow orange at night with the boost up!

This has been asked so many times that is more usefull to make a "supercharger" sticky. It is just getting ridiculous really. (Not to mention anoying)

History of supercharger questions and the heated discusions:

SC januari 2003

every month at least 2 times until januari 2004:

SC januari 2004

Every month at least 3 times until januari 2005:
SC Januari 2005

evey month at least 2 times until januari 2006:
SC Januari 2006

and then until now the question about it increases to at least 6 times a month unti now.

GO HERE and type: supercharger

So make this *censored* thing a sticky so that it will never be asked again... EVER!

I think Obiwan is a little tired of this topic! Mods, definitely make it a sticky please. It has been beat to death over time and it will not go away.
